These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the International Doorway website and the programs and services offered by International Doorway to Education & Athletics (IDEA). By using this website or enrolling in an IDEA program, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms.
1. ABOUT INTERNATIONAL DOORWAY
International Doorway to Education & Athletics (IDEA) is a U.S.-based organization that assists international students in identifying university, scholarship, academic, and athletic opportunities in the United States.
IDEA works with students throughout different stages of the process, which may include university selection, scholarship opportunities, admissions guidance, I-20 coordination, visa-process guidance, and enrollment support.
2. WEBSITE INFORMATION
The information published on this website is intended for general informational purposes.
IDEA makes reasonable efforts to keep program information current and accurate. However, university requirements, scholarship amounts, tuition costs, admissions criteria, athletic opportunities, immigration procedures, and other third-party information may change without prior notice.
Specific written agreements provided to enrolled students take precedence over general information published on the website.
3. PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
IDEA offers different programs and services depending on the student’s academic profile, athletic background when applicable, objectives, budget, country of residence, and selected service.
Program features, university options, scholarship parameters, fees, timelines, and minimum guaranteed results may vary by program.
The specific terms applicable to each student are established in the corresponding enrollment agreement or written program documentation.
4. GUARANTEES AND ZERO-RISK POLICY
Certain IDEA programs establish minimum results in writing.
If IDEA does not provide the minimum results established in the applicable program agreement, the student may qualify for a 100% refund of the amount paid to IDEA, subject to the terms and conditions of that agreement.
The Zero-Risk Guarantee is based on IDEA providing the minimum results established by the program and is not conditioned on the student accepting or enrolling in any particular university.
Where applicable, refunds will be processed according to the timeline established in the corresponding enrollment agreement.
5. UNIVERSITY ADMISSION
Admission decisions are made exclusively by each university or educational institution.
IDEA assists students throughout the admissions process but does not control a university’s final admissions decision.
Students are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and authentic academic and personal information.
6. SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships may be partial or full and may include tuition, housing, meals, or other university costs depending on the institution and the individual offer.
Scholarship amounts, annual costs, renewal requirements, and conditions are determined by each university.
Unless specifically established otherwise in writing, IDEA does not guarantee that a scholarship will cover 100% of all educational or personal expenses.
7. ATHLETIC TRYOUTS AND PARTICIPATION
For programs involving athletic recruitment or tryouts, athletic participation is subject to university, athletic-department, eligibility, conference, association, and team requirements.
A scholarship or university admission does not automatically guarantee a place on an athletic roster unless specifically stated in writing.
Where a tryout is included in an IDEA program, the tryout will be coordinated according to the conditions established by the university and the applicable program agreement.
8. VISAS AND IMMIGRATION
IDEA may provide guidance and supporting documentation related to the student visa or travel process.
Visa eligibility, issuance, denial, entry into the United States, and immigration status are determined exclusively by the appropriate U.S. governmental authorities.
IDEA cannot guarantee the approval of any visa or immigration benefit.
9. PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS, AND REFUNDS
Program fees, deposits, payment schedules, cancellation policies, and refund conditions are established in the corresponding enrollment agreement.
Students and families are responsible for reviewing those terms before enrolling.
Refund rights under IDEA’s Zero-Risk Guarantee apply only according to the specific written conditions of the selected program.
10. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Students are responsible for providing truthful and complete information, complying with application deadlines, submitting required documentation, maintaining communication with IDEA, and meeting university, immigration, academic, and athletic requirements when applicable.
Failure to provide required information or comply with applicable requirements may affect the services IDEA is able to provide.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The content of this website, including text, graphics, photographs, videos, designs, logos, trademarks, program materials, and other content, is owned by or licensed to International Doorway and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
International Doorway® and related branding may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written authorization.
12. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
This website may contain links to universities, governmental agencies, social-media platforms, payment providers, or other third-party services.
IDEA is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, policies, or actions of third-party websites or services.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, IDEA will not be responsible for losses resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including university decisions, changes in institutional policies, visa decisions, immigration regulations, travel disruptions, athletic eligibility decisions, or actions by third parties.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
14. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
By providing contact information, users authorize IDEA to communicate with them regarding inquiries, applications, programs, university opportunities, and related services through email, telephone, messaging applications, or other appropriate communication channels.
Promotional or marketing communications will be subject to any additional consent requirements established by applicable law.
